MBA Servicing Solutions Conference 2020 - what to watch out for - Part 2
If you are working in the mortgage industry, then I am sure you would be following the MBA's Servicing Solutions Conference & Expo 2020 happening this week in Orlando, FL. It is a great opportunity to network with industry executives and to learn the latest in the industry. There are a lot of interesting sessions. But here are a few that we would highly recommend.
25 February ’20, Tuesday. The day starts with a members-only committee meeting on Loan Administration so, if you’re a committee member, head-on at 7:30am sharp to attend this exclusive meeting.
1. General session- Market Outlook: However, if you’re not a member, you can arrive a little late but just in time for the first general session of the day at 9am on Market Outlook with speakers Mr. Joel Kan, Associate Vice President of Economic and Industry Forecasting, Mortgage Bankers Association and Ms. Marina Walsh, Vice President, Industry Analysis, Mortgage Bankers Association.
2. HUB Event: Continuing with the HUB events from the prior day, today there is a Q&A with the Economists at 10:30am followed by a discussion on Innovation and Tech Track: Homeowner Reemployment – Addressing the Largest Root Cause of Delinquency with the speakers Mr. Justin Wiseman, Associate Vice President, Managing Regulatory Counsel, Mortgage Bankers Association; Mr. John Courtney, Chief Executive Officer, NextJob and Mr. Tammy Mullin, Chief Marketing Officer, NextJob. There are again a few demonstrations of latest technologies in the industry.
There are again a series of breakout sessions including:
1. Business Operation Track: Hot Topics in Property Preservation with speakers including Ms.

Then finally, after a series of special sessions like an Interactive Peer Group Discussion: Flood and
Natural Disasters Q&A as well as Interactive Peer Group Discussion: Tax and Escrow Issues going simultaneously with Trends in Judicial State Law with speakers Mr. Roy Diaz, Managing Shareholder, Diaz, Anselmo, Lindberg, PA; Mr. Greg Sanda, Partner, Schiller, Knapp, Lefkowitz & Hertzel, LLP ; Mr. Robert Rappe, Managing Foreclosure Attorney, Codilis & Associates; Ms. Lisa A. This day is filled with interactive sessions and really burning issues which need to be addressed,
discussed and solved.
26 February ’20, Wednesday.
On the final day of the event, the day will start with registrations being opened to everyone and
then only one general session has been planned for the day which starts at 9am themed Servicing

Overall, the whole conference is very informative and the topics that are to be discussed and talked about. We hope to see more of conferences like these in the future so that people get exposure and a platform to meet like-minded people.
